AIA Georgia Re-elects Shamrock+ President Ryan Murphy as At-Large Director

Murphy Begins New Term in January 2026

AIA Georgia has re-elected Ryan Murphy, president and co-founder of Shamrock+, to serve as an At-Large Director. His new two-year term begins in January 2026.

Murphy Brings Longstanding Experience in Architecture

Murphy is a licensed architect with more than 17 years of experience. He has worked in private practice, federal service, and digital documentation for AEC industries. In 2023, he received the AIA Young Architects Award for his contributions to practice and community engagement.

Continued Service to AIA Georgia

Murphy has served AIA Georgia in several leadership roles. During his previous term, he supported the Citizen Architect Matching and Placement System (CAMPS). This program connects architects with civic and community service opportunities. He also assisted with early-career programs that help young professionals build leadership skills.

Role of an At-Large Director

At-Large Directors help guide statewide planning and support chapter initiatives. They attend monthly board meetings and serve on committees. They also assist with communication efforts and public outreach. The role ensures representation across regions and practice areas.

Professional Background Supports the Board’s Mission

Murphy leads Shamrock+, a firm specializing in 3D scanning, aerial imaging, virtual tours, and reality-capture services. His work helps design teams document existing conditions and plan projects with accurate field data. This experience supports AIA Georgia’s work in education, documentation, and technology integration.

Murphy’s Focus for the New Term
